Homosexuality, Ethics, and the Church (Summer 2008)

Today Christians of all denominations are caught up in debates about how Christian theology and practice should address the many and complex aspects of human sexuality. These debates have direct bearing on our understanding of how we are—or should be--related to God and to each other. Often the topic is homosexuality; often the focus is the Bible. Richard Norris’s important essay and the responses to it indicate some of the other major topics and sources that contribute to this ongoing debate.
